Martin A. Lessem
United Nations Development Programme
First year member

In comparison with other 3?credit courses, how much effort did the NMUN participation require of you?
I felt that this course required more work than most of my other three credit courses, and was in many ways, much more intense.
What academic benefits did you derive from participating in the 2001 NMUN?
I learned how to research a topic better than before and how to go more in depth.
What non-academic benefits did you derive from participating in the 2001 NMUN?
I improved my ability to speak in front of people, as well as gaining many new, and hopefully lifelong friends.
Overall evaluation of the 2001 NMUN experience
MUN has, by far, been my best experience at Rider. Although it was a great deal of work and stress, I will never forget how good it felt when my resolutions got passed. I will never forget all the fun I had, and all the friends I made via MUN at Rider.
